D2D entry #47: The Black Six (1974, Matt Cimber)

Oy, what shit. I remember thinking the trailer for this biker flick was amusing in that it identified its six lead actors — all professional football players — were identified not only by name but by the teams for which they played. Turns out they’re also identified as such in the opening credits, which should give you some idea of the level of thought that went into this. Poorly directed, poorly lensed, poorly edited, poorly written and poorly acted (to be expected when athletes comprise a significant portion of your cast). It seems to run on forever until it abruptly stops without finding an actual resolution. I’m fucking done with this film like it’s done with me.
